The Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) is seeking an Office Administrator to join our team for a six month contract. The Office Administrator is responsible for the effective office, membership and financial administration of VCOSS.
VCOSS is the peak body of the community sector in Victoria. It raises awareness of the existence, causes and effects of poverty and disadvantage. VCOSS is a unique membership based organisation with a rich history in social justice advocacy in Victoria.
The Office Administrator position is a key support function that ensures the effective day to day running of the organisation. The position is responsible for reception, equipment and office maintenance, membership finance and database administration and any other administrative support required.
The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and/or experience in office administration or a related field. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in office systems, equipment and processes are essential and an understanding of the financial administration program MYOB is desirable.
This position is full time six month fixed term contract until November 2017. Salary and conditions of employment are governed by the Victorian Council of Social Service Enterprise Agreement 2014 and VCOSS policies and procedures.
