Using Collective Bargaining Power

The term “Whole of Government Contracts” may not mean a lot to you, but if you’re in the business of saving money (and which community organisation isn’t?) it’s probably time you added it to your vocabulary.

The Whole of Government Contracts resource is available through the Victorian State Government’s Department of
Human Services (DHS) and it gives selected organisations the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars when purchasing everyday goods and services.

Because the State Government buys large amounts of goods and services across a variety of fields, it is able to use its bargaining power to negotiate contracts to supply these items at cheaper rates.
