  • Consultation on Royal Commission into Mental Health: Terms of Reference

At the recent State Election, the Andrews Labor Government committed to establishing a Royal Commission into Mental Health. This Commission will provide a comprehensive set of recommendations on how to best support Victorians experiencing mental illness. The Commission will commence in March 2019.

The Government is now consulting with stakeholders on the Terms of Reference for the Royal Commission.

Now is your chance to help shape the terms of reference. VCOSS would like to hear your views on:

    • The scope of the Royal Commission
    • The themes that the Royal Commission should cover
    • The outcomes that you would like to see as a result of the Royal Commission.

VCOSS intends to provide a submission on the Terms of Reference. To help develop our submission, we invite you or a representative of your organisation to a consultation forum to share your views with other VCOSS members and inform our feedback.

You can also provide input by completing a survey or sending in your own submission via this link by 27 January 2019.

Please note that this consultation is for VCOSS members only.
