Gambling Harm Conference 2020

Gambling Harm Conference 2020: ‘Every conversation counts’ will bring together Victorians, Australians and international experts from all sectors involved in tackling gambling harm to explore the issue through three streams: the changing landscape of gambling; stories from the frontline; and the bigger picture.

Join us for keynote presentations by Anita Heiss – proud member of the Wiradjuri nation of central NSW, prolific author and UQ professor of communications; Robin Room – sociologist, adviser to the WHO and professor at La Trobe University’s Centre for Alcohol Policy Research; Jason Stephenson – bestselling author and meditation specialist who has worked with everyone from Hollywood stars to prison inmates and whose ‘Relax me online’ YouTube meditation sleep music channel has more than 1.4 subscribers; and Samson Tse, expert in recovery of people affected by both gambling harm and mental health issues, and Hong Kong University professor and associate dean.
