Without amazing people working as a team at each service, healthcare could not exist nor improve. We will showcase many strategic innovations implemented by healthcare and aged care services throughout Australia that have experienced exceptional results by investing the time in their staff. As this is a grassroots event, you will have the opportunity to connect with people whom have a similar vision to yours.

You will also experience an introduction to our wellness program- ‘Be Present’. Learn how to support your team through implementing mindulness and wellbeing techniques for greater staff engagement and less burnout.

What is your purpose for getting up in the morning and going to work? Do you want to transform you healthcare service? Do you feel the need to become a better leader for yourself and your staff? We will give you a taster of our impact leadership program which is specifically designed for leaders in healthcare and aged crae. By addressing the issues and giving our leaders options to manage not only their own teams but the expectations of the organisation, we are building a strong core for the future of our health care sector.

There are many bumps in the road that can delay or prevent us from making the improvements we desperately want to achieve; new services are required, accreditation standards are changing, customer needs are developing, competition is rising and suddenly support is needed to maintain your continuous improvement culture. Lean’s value proposition is to improve quality through waste reduction and increasing value from the customer’s perspective. You will be taught how to use several Lean tools to examine a problem and work out how to implement a solution you can maintain.

Your registration includes:

  • A seat for both days – morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided
