New Guardianship and Administration Act 2019 – A Practice Matters forum

This Act comes into effect on 1 March 2020 and recognises one of the most important human rights for people with cognitive disability – the right to make and participate in decision making that affects their lives. Practically, what does this mean?

This interactive forum will feature a Q & A with an Advocate Guardian about their thoughts and reflections on supported decision making and will provide information about the changes under this new Act.

This seminar is for health and social services professionals.

Please advise of any support needs or other requirements.
