VCOSS sees the growing impacts of climate change on people facing disadvantage, including on their health and wellbeing, costs of living, comfort at home, and safety in extreme weather and disasters. So we’re working to understand the challenges for our sector, and to assist community organisations and the people they work with to be more resilient to climate change.
This forum will:
- share our early research and test our initial ideas on how to achieve ‘climate equity’ for community organisations and vulnerable people in Victoria, and
- ask you to share your experience and views on climate change-related challenges.
All VCOSS members are welcome. You do not need any climate change knowledge or experience to take part.
To assist us to deliver a valuable event, please also share your views and experiences prior to this session via our questionnaire.
If you have any questions, please contact Susan Quinn at email@example.com.
