VCOSS is proud to become an official supporter of the ‘yes’ campaign for marriage equality.
As an organisation, we have a clear mission to fight for justice, respect and equality on behalf of all Victorians.
This extends to the right of people to have their relationships recognised and celebrated equally, regardless of how they identify or who they love.
We cannot claim to live in a truly fair, just or modern society so long as barriers to this recognition remain enshrined in our laws.
From now until the day marriage equality is passed in Australia, VCOSS will stand beside our LGBTQI+ friends in the pursuit of equal love.
