Victoria’s vibrant community services industry

Victoria has a vibrant community services industry with a proud history of supporting people facing poverty and disadvantage. It is also a major contributor to the Victorian economy and projected to be one of its fastest growing industries. 

Over the five years from 2017, the health and social assistance industry, in which community services is embedded, will be the fastest growing industry in the state, adding around 72,000 new jobs to the Victorian economy

This report is the fourth in a series produced by VCOSS that analyses data from Annual Information Statements (AIS) from Victorian community service organisations registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
